Kentron (κέντρον)
"O death, where is thy kentron?" The kentron is the lethal barb of a scorpion, the venomous stinger of a wasp. Paul says death carried a kentron, and the venom in that stinger was sin, and the strength of sin was the law. At Calvary, Jesus took the whole payment. He didn't dodge the sting. He absorbed it and pulled it out. What faces you now is a snake with no fangs.
