The Revelation

Basar (בָּשָׂר)

Your basar is not disposable furniture. It is the temple of the Holy Ghost. God formed it from the dust with His own hands and breathed into it. The gospel is not the rescue of your soul from your body — it is the redemption of the whole person, body included. That is why Romans 8:11 promises the Spirit quickens your mortal body today, and why your body will be raised immortal at the resurrection.
