Immortality in Christ — The Full Anchor Set
12 anchor scriptures · 4 groups · KJV + AMPC
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
— 1 Corinthians 15:55–57 (KJV)
Here is the thing most believers were never taught: death, in the Bible, is not extinction. It never means you stop existing. From cover to cover, death means separation.
Death was defined in Scripture as separation from God. And Paul says nothing — not even death itself — can separate you from God's love in Christ. Which means death, by its own biblical definition, has no jurisdiction over the child of God.

Every Scripture Behind the Teaching
Group 1 Death Defined & Defeated 5 scriptures
- 1 Corinthians 15:55–57 — O Death, Where Is Thy Sting? Death carried a lethal barb — the Greek kentron — and that venom was sin backed by the law. At Calvary Jesus bore the penalty and extracted the sting. Death for the believer is a snake with no fangs.
- 2 Timothy 1:10 — Christ Abolished Death Katargeō means to render inoperative, powerless, void of authority. Jesus did not merely defeat death; He voided it.
- Hebrews 2:14–15 — Set Free From Lifelong Bondage Fear of death is the silent tormentor. Jesus took on flesh precisely to end that bondage — not soften it. End it.
- John 8:51 — Never See Death Theōreō means to gaze upon, to contemplate — to have as one's experience. The believer will never have death as an experience.
- John 11:25–26 — I Am the Resurrection and the Life Jesus does not soften His words. He asks Martha (and you): Do you believe this? This is the crux question of the whole teaching.
Group 2 The Uncreated Zoe Life in You 3 scriptures
- John 5:24 — Has Passed Over From Death Into Life Metabebēken — perfect tense — has already crossed over. Not "will cross." Has crossed. Past decisive event with permanent standing.
- 1 John 5:11–12 — Life Is in the Son The Zoe life is not a thing God gives you. It is His Son in you. To have Christ is to have the Life. Period.
- John 10:10 — Life to the Full
Group 3 The Glorified Body 2 scriptures
- 1 Corinthians 15:42–54 — The Resurrection Body Soma Psychikon → Soma Pneumatikon. Same identity, transformed substance. Sown → raised. Weakness → power. Mortal puts on Athanasia (deathlessness).
- Philippians 3:20–21 — Like His Glorious Body
Group 4 Inseparable Union 2 scriptures
- Romans 8:11 — The Same Spirit That Raised Jesus Zōopoieō — to make alive, to vivify. Today. Now. Your mortal body carries resurrection power.
- Romans 8:38–39 — Neither Death Nor Life If death was defined biblically as separation from God, and Paul says nothing — including death itself — can separate you from God's love in Christ, then death has been stripped of its very definition for the believer.
