Treasure in Heaven and Labour That Is Not in Vain
Everything visible is temporary. So the only real question about your time is where you are putting it.
Bodies age, wealth fades, possessions decay, applause disappears, achievements pass. Therefore children of God must invest their time in what has eternal value. You store treasure in heaven when you use your time, gifts, resources, words and opportunities for the glory of God. Every act of love, prayer, generosity, forgiveness, faithfulness and service done in Christ carries eternal weight.

Application
What This Means for You
Every act of love, prayer, generosity, forgiveness, faithfulness and service done in Christ has eternal value — including the ones nobody saw.
The deeper question was never "How long will I live?" but "For whom will I live?" One day in His courts outweighs a thousand spent elsewhere.
Your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Steadfast, unglamorous obedience is exactly the kind of investment that survives the fire.
