Salvation Is Available to Anyone
Repentance doesn't start with what you did wrong. It starts with a door God refuses to close — and your name is already on the invitation.
The Scriptures
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
The anchor of the open door — salvation is available to anyone who calls.
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered."
The Old Testament root of the promise Paul quotes.
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Preached by Peter at the birth of the church.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
The love behind the open door.
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
The Name that saves.
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
We turn back not to rules, but to abundant life.
The Anchor Verse
Romans 10:13
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
— KJV
Whosoever — at any age, in any condition, from anywhere on the road. The door is open to anyone, and the invitation begins with salvation and stays open for a lifetime.
Application
You do not earn the right to call on Jesus — you simply call. There is no age requirement and no cleanup required first. The door is already open, and "whosoever" includes you.
Every repentant journey begins here: not with what you did wrong, but with the free, real, available grace of God. Salvation is the doorway; repentance is how you keep walking through it for a lifetime.
